The idea of a “gift of fragrance” also emphasizes the human-centric aspect and the brand’s dedication to its customers. LJDS meticulously crafts each scent for your home, infused with love and a spirit of exploration. Furthermore, fragrance is not only a source of pleasure but also a form of art. Therefore, this gift is valuable due to the heritage and artistry embodied in every drop of scent.

Rooted in heartfelt gifting, LJDS’s design celebrates fragrance as both everyday joy and timeless art.

The design concept originates from LJDS’s core idea: “Each product is a gift,” aiming to transform each package into a “gift of fragrance.” The packaging not only contains the product inside but also serves as a gift wrap, waiting to be unboxed to spread its fragrance into the air. This “gift of fragrance” is not only for giving to your loved ones but also for yourself, as everyone deserves to enjoy a living space filled with the scent of nature. The idea of a “gift of fragrance” also emphasizes the human-centric aspect and the brand’s dedication to its customers. LJDS meticulously crafts each scent for your home, infused with love and a spirit of exploration. Furthermore, fragrance is not only a source of pleasure but also a form of art. Therefore, this gift is valuable due to the heritage and artistry embodied in every drop of scent.

LJDS packaging blends artful details and thoughtful structure to elevate the unboxing into a fragrant experience.

To embody the “gift of fragrance” concept, we developed a foldable packaging structure inspired by traditional gift wrapping. The folded paper evokes the feeling of a present, enclosing artworks by famed French painter Claude Monet. Each piece reflects the essence of the scent inside, waiting to be discovered. To add a fresh touch, the paintings are adorned with concentric circle dots—evoking blooming flowers and symbolizing scent molecules dispersing into the air. For product packaging, we also use micro-perforation and secure it with black sticker tape featuring the brand name. On top of the bottle, we use a wax seal to emphasize the gift concept, adding a touch of classic and premium quality to the product.

What Layơ Lab learned from this project is that when art movements are thoughtfully combined with modern design thinking, they enhance both emotional impact and visual performance.
